Most peaceful kayaking available in the upstate. Good fishing, nice views of Table Rock, two nice docks, lots of wildlife, depending on how you access the area. Love taking my kayak up after work on Friday and paddling the week's stress away...picnic on the dock afterwards...great! and using the state park passport pass makes it even better because I can go as often as I want without extra expense.
Nice park that is well maintained. Lake is pretty busy in summer, and the hiking is beautiful. There are a lot of different hiking trails from easy to difficult, and quick to long. The parking can be difficult though
Love to come up here and hike the mountain trails and just unwind and see the beautiful scenery!
Peaceful place to kayak and fish. The view of Table Rock is wonderful from this lake. Easy to get to from Table Rock Grounds. Easy access boat dock. A place to gain peace and serenity.
